French Military Surplus
A square mess kit used by the French army from the 1950s.
It consists of a 3-piece set: a large pan with a handle, a small pan, and a deep dish. All pieces can be stacked and stored within the large pan, and cutlery can also be stored inside.
Made by NORDMETALL PS&CO in 1955.
This is not a deadstock item, so there are minor scratches and dirt, but there are no problems with opening, closing, or storage, and there are no burn marks.
The M-52 mess kit often has many exterior scratches even in deadstock condition, so considering its age, this one is in relatively good condition.
The cutlery is a set of a spoon and a fork, and is a deadstock item with the ARMEE (Army) stamp.
